This Group meets on the first Friday of each month, with the exception of public holidays.

"Effective supervisors observe, mentor, coach, evaluate, inspire, and create an atmosphere that promotes self-motivation, learning, and professional development."
As a professional working in the mental health field, supervision is an integral part of your ongoing personal and professional development. Supervision is a formal agreement between yourself and your supervisor in a small group or individual arrangement.
It provides you an opportunity to:
• Present and discuss your clients in a confidential and supportive environment;
• Share resources;
• Discover new approaches;
• Open up to alternatives of how best to work with your clients.
Professional Associations have a mandatory requirement that you participate in supervision to ensure that you are maintaining and following their standards and ethical guidelines.

Each supervision session is based on the current needs for the group or individual. First and Foremost is presenting any challenging clients and needs regarding a specific client or business.

In reference to your clients; ways of working and dependant on your experience and any specific needs at the time, we may cover a healthy mix including and not limited to:
• Alternative perceptions, schema's, and theories in relation to your clients presenting problem.
• Look at any Personal and professional challenges you are having with either clients; life work balance and/or business related issues.
• Educate and expand on effective thinking to boost your current way or working.
• Review - Example case studies, articles or processes clarifying the key information along with practical ways to utilise this knowledge.
• Practise - techniques by doing Role Plays or presentations.
• Receive and Provide Constructive Feedback to either the group and/or your supervisor.
Effective preparation is essential in order to gain the most value from your supervision sessions. The format of our sessions is constructed in a way to assist you in your personal growth, further your development your skills and ways of thinking when working with clients.
How often do I need to have Professional Supervision?
How often do I need to have Professional Supervision?
The requirements vary depending on your level of membership and the Professional Associations you belong to.
Generally it is recommended: Individual supervision is at least one hour a month and for Group Supervision two hours. For therapists who see in excess of 25 clients a week, once a fortnight may be needed.
In group supervision you will be required to commit to a 2 hour monthly meeting for a period of 6 months in order to keep the integrity of the group and build on the relationship and group dynamics.

The mimimum number of people is 3 and the maximum is 5 complying with the expectations and regulations of all the relevant professional boards for Hypnotherapy and Neuro Linguistic Programming.

Group Supervision $50 per person for a 2 hour session once a month
Individual Supervision $125 for a 1 hour session on a needs be basis.

Face to Face sessions are available in Bondi, NSW or South Port QLD. Many Group and Individual supervision are conducted either by phone, skype or google hangouts.

PLEASE NOTE: To ensure there is a best fit into an existing group, a brief phone interview will be conducted. This will then be followed up with an induction session before joining the group.
